GRADUATE PROGRAM

Build the foundations for a career in development finance

AIIB’s Graduate Program is a two-year rotational experience designed for early-career professionals. Analysts will be assigned to different departments and will develop their skills and expertise while acquiring hands-on experience by working with the Bank’s professionals. Working closely with clients in the public and private sectors, they will gain a deep understanding of infrastructure development as well as financing challenges and opportunities in Asia and beyond. They will also receive training, mentoring, career guidance, and opportunities to grow at AIIB.

Find the stream that fits you.

Each stream has a distinct two-year journey. Select the one that fits your discipline and see what you will do, the departments you will rotate, and what you will walk away with.

Investment stream

You will rotate within AIIB’s investment operations to gain experience in identifying, preparing, and monitoring investment projects for public- and private-sector clients.

Finance stream

You will work closely with the Treasurer’s and Controller’s offices and gain a deeper understanding of the tools, techniques, and technologies related to treasury and finance processes and accounting.

Risk management stream

You will rotate within the Risk Management Department and client departments to gain in-depth experience in monitoring and analyzing developments that affect current and future potential risk.

Strategy stream

You will gain hands-on experience in developing and implementing AIIB’s corporate strategy and sector strategies.

Corporate stream

You will rotate within the Corporate Secretariat and the Communications Department to develop skills in stakeholder management, protocol, and development communications.

Environmental and social stream

You will develop skills in applying environmental, social, and climate provisions at the operational level by participating in private- and public-sector finance operations and implementation and reporting of projects and by conducting any necessary research and analytical work, supervised by senior specialists.
